The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will hold a series of five Open Houses on the Purple Line project. The Purple Line is a proposed 16-mile light rail line from Bethesda in Montgomery County to New Carrollton in Prince George’s County. The Purple Line would provide fast and reliable transit service and link major activity centers, Metro, MARC, Amtrak and local bus services.
